UNITED AIRLINES FLIES TO ACCRA

The Kotoka International Airport witnessed the arrival of the first direct flight of United Airlines in Ghana for the first time after about 5 years.

The airline withdrew their services to Ghana in 2015 but has recommenced direct flights to Accra and have chosen Aviance Ghana as its grounds handler.

The brief welcome ceremony was attended by the USA ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan, Yaw Kwakwa (Director of Ghana Airport Company), Patrick Quayle (United Vice President International Network and Alliance) among other dignitaries.
